Lodge De Ogle help local Foodbank

07th November 2020

Even though Freemasons from Lodge De Ogle in Morpeth have not met for more than six months due to the COVID pandemic, their good work helping charities has continued.

A cheque for £150 was presented to Wansbeck Valley Food Bank to help families in need during the current crisis.

Wansbeck Valley Foodbank in Morpeth is the largest independent foodbank in Northumberland and delivers food parcels to those in need in Ashington, Newbiggin, Morpeth and surrounding areas.

When we found out about the amount of people the food bank was helping in our area it really made us think. We know that the foodbank is committed to relieving food poverty in our local area and we wanted them to know that we are grateful for their hard work and dedication.
