Last year as part of our tercentenary celebrations the charity was awarded a grant from the Northumberland Freemasons to help towards the production of a new play, which premiers later this year.
“The Twisting Ducks do invaluable work and the support they give to their members is exceptional. I am delighted that the Northumberland Freemasons grant has helped the members of Twisting Ducks put on what I am sure will be a fantastic play. Break a leg!”
RW Bro John James Craigs, Provincial Grand Master
The new play, Xenos Falls, will be performed on the 25th April, 7:30 pm, at Northern Stage in Newcastle with tickets available online or at the box office on the night.
The grant given to us by the Northumberland Freemasons has helped us to provide inclusive opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism. We are very grateful for the grant which will have a positive impact on a lot of lives and we hope people will come along to see the play”.
Jay Hare, Chief Executive of The Twisting Ducks
