Saturday 27 April saw several of our Lodge and Chapter Treasurers attend a workshop presented by the Provincial Learning and Development Team and hosted by our friends at Shiremoor Masonic Hall.
This was a repeat of the event held last year and was designed to give Treasurers some information as to the responsibilities of the job and also some best practices to assist in making the job easier. This included some software which was developed in house to enable production of accounts and reconciliation of transactions which was made available to all attendees following the session, together with a hand book to complement the material delivered on the day.
The Learning and Development Team will be holding a similar session for Lodge Secretaries later in the year and sessions for Royal Arch Representatives so watch this space for details as all interested brethren are more than welcome to attend.
