The St Anthonys Lodge Generosity Spreads Across Europe

13th June 2022

As many who have recently visited Byker Masonic Hall will have seen, the St Anthony’s Lodge No.4423, have been promoting a fundraising appeal to assist the people of Ukraine, during these awful times. At their most recent meeting they raised the magnificent sum of £250, with £150 coming from the membership within the building, a further £50 personal donation by an anonymous member from the Lodge plus another £50 from the Lodge itself.

Congratulations to Pete Harding, of Lodge Justice No.4421, for winning a bottle of Jura and Martin Jackson? of Excelsior Lodge No.6609, for winning a bottle of port.

The meeting itself was well attended with those present witnessing an excellent double Second Degree Ceremony as well as enjoying a most convivial festive board from Brendan and efficient bar service from Clare, on her Wedding anniversary.

Many thanks to James Horner for the submission of this article..

Congratulation to the St Anthony’s Lodge from everyone at Northumberland Freemasons for your continued fundraising efforts and we look forwarding to hearing all about you various upcoming Centenary celebrations.
