Wooler is a blooming great place to visit thanks to a £500 donation from Berwick Freemasons.
The Heart of Glendale Lodge presented the cheque to the Glendale Floral Society to go towards the fountain restoration project which the society and the Friends of Wooler Fountain Restoration are managing. A replica is being made of the old fountain which stood in the same spot in the market place until the 1960’s when it was removed for safety reasons.
