Holy Cross Lodge No.3679, which meets at Wallsend Masonic Hall, recently welcomed the second of two recent Pathways candidates.
The March meeting of the Lodge saw Mr Mackensie Cockburn, who is only 22 years old, undertake his First Degree Ceremony, after applying through the Pathways Scheme to join, in 2022, and is quoted saying “I felt very proud to join a Masonic Lodge here in my home town of Wallsend and am looking forward to this new chapter in my life”
Furthermore, at the April meeting of the Lodge, Mr Peter Wright, who has recently left the Army after a 24 year career, and was looking for some comradeship also joined. He started to research Freemasonry and decided to apply, again via the Pathway Scheme, which he thought was a “great way to encourage new members to gain further information about the Craft and the process of joining”
Congratulations from everyone at Northumberland Freemasons, to both Mackensie and Peter on joining and we wish them every success for an enjoyable future in the Province.
