You may remember, from better times, at this time of year Byker Masonic Hall puts up a tree under which presents can be placed for the less fortunate.
The hall has been forced to close due to the pandemic so we cannot place presents under the tree in the usual manner. They will, however, be collecting any gifts that members may wish to donate on Saturday the 5th and 12th December from 10.30 until 1130, on each day, in the car park at Corbridge Road.
Donations should specify an age and gender to ensure they are given to a suitable child.
