A Message from the Annual Byker Masonic Hall Christmas Tree Appeal

19th December 2020

We would like to thank all those kind hearted and generous people who have donated presents to the Salvation Army here at Byker Masonic Hall, with 2020 seeing another vast amount of presents received.

With the Hall being forced to close due to the pandemic, we were unable to place presents under the tree in the usual manner. Undeterred, and to maintain the tradition, W.Bro. Bill, assisted by his lovely wife Sue, with the support of family and friends Sarah and Brenda, collected a huge amount of gifts that members dropped off and donated on Saturday the 5th and 12th December at the Hall.

The parcels were collected by the Salvation Army representative on the 12th from Company Secretary Bill Taylor and, when handing them over, the rep had to make two trips to collect all the presents, such was the number and generosity of our Masonic community.

From all here at Byker Masonic Hall, we would like to thank Bill Taylor and his team for all their hard work with the year on year initiative. Well done!!

To all our Brethren, families and friends who donated gifts, your kindness I am sure, will put a smile on many a child’s face on Christmas Day.

We thank you all and truly appreciate the giving spirit of our Masonic family.
