Unlocking the Mysteries of the Platonic Bodies: Upcoming Lecture at St. Cuthbert Royal Arch Chapter

14th October 2024

Join us for an enlightening evening as the St. Cuthbert Royal Arch Chapter No. 1902 in Bedlington Masonic Hall hosts a special Provincial visit on Tuesday, 10th December 2024 at 6:30 pm. This exciting event will feature a lecture entitled “The Platonic Bodies and Their Relevance in Royal Arch Masonry”—a unique opportunity to delve into one of the most intriguing and often overlooked aspects of Masonic symbolism.

The Five Platonic Bodies have long been associated with the Symbols and Ornaments of the Royal Arch Chapter, but sadly, they are rarely referenced in modern ritual. The lecture will explore their rich symbolism and their connection to Plato’s five elements, the Seal of Solomon, and the Triple Tau found on the Royal Arch Companion’s jewel. The event promises to deepen our understanding of these powerful symbols and their role in the Royal Arch, shining a light on their relevance in today’s Masonic journey.

Whether you’re already familiar with the Royal Arch or looking to gain new insights, this is an event not to be missed.
