Portal Registrations in Northumberland Pass 1,000 Milestone

10th July 2025

A key milestone as more brethren are embracing UGLE’s digital membership platform

We’re pleased to report that registrations to the UGLE Portal Membership System have now passed the 1,000 mark here in the Province of Northumberland – a fantastic milestone for what has already proven to be a valuable tool for members across both Craft and Chapter.

Our 1,000th registrant was WBro James Crawford of St. Anthony’s Lodge No. 4423, who joins the growing number of brethren making the most of this modern and interactive platform since its launch in March.

Why Use the Portal?

Feedback from members so far has been overwhelmingly positive. The Portal isn’t just a directory – it’s a personal dashboard designed to put you in control of your Masonic journey.

  • Empower yourself – Update and manage your Masonic profile with ease
  • Stay informed – Never miss a Lodge or Chapter meeting again
  • Discover more – Access lodge and chapter details across the Province
  • Reflect and grow – Track your progress and journey through Freemasonry
  • Connect and contribute – Share your skills and interests
  • Control your privacy – Decide what others can see via custom settings

Use the email address where you receive First Rising, and you’ll be sent a six-digit security code to complete the process. If your email address has changed, that’s not a problem – the system will flag it, and the Portal Support Team will help verify and update your record securely.

Where Are We Now?

While 1,000 registrations are a great start, they currently represent just under 38% of the eligible members. There’s still plenty of room for improvement, and your registration really does make a difference.

Lodge Secretaries and Scribe E’s can now see who’s registered within their unit, and are encouraged to support their members in signing up.

Final Word

If you’ve not registered yet, now’s the time. The Portal is quickly becoming a key part of our membership experience, and the more members who use it, the more powerful and connected it becomes.

Let’s keep the momentum going!
