Oriental Lodge will host a series of four Lockdown Lectures at 7pm on the 3rd Monday of March, April, May and June. The inaugural lecture on 15th March; My Life and Times in the Hong Kong Police Force will be given by Chris Fraser OBE.
Chris will talk about his 15 year posting in the Hong Kong Police Force. From joining the Colonial force as a 21 year old to returning to the UK in 1976, Chris will share his stories from his interesting life serving on the Sino Hong Kong Border during the Cultural Revolution in China and his time Special Branch known in Chinese as the Political Police.
The Oriental Lodge lecture series is open to non-Lodge members and indeed non-members are encouraged to attend and to help spread the work about what is sure to be a fascinating series of talks over the next 4 months.
