At only the third ever meeting of the Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge of Northumberland No.9981 since its consecration in 2019, the Founding Worshipful Master, V.W.Bro Kevin Stannard, was installed as Deputy Provincial Grand Master by R.W.Bro Ian Craigs, the Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by a full Provincial deputation. In a, bursting at the seems, Cramlington Masonic Building, brethren from across the Province came together, showing how well respected Kevin is, amongst them.
V.W.Bro Kevin was initiated into Freemasonry in 1990 into Achilles University Lodge No.4078 and exalted into Duke of Connaught Chapter No.3892 in 1992. Kevin is very well known in the Province and has previously held the office of Assistant Provincial Grand Master and was a member of the Provincial Director of Ceremonies Team from 2006 to 2017, as both Deputy Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies and then Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies. In the Royal Arch Chapter he was again a member of the Provincial Director of Ceremonies Team from 2009 to 2017 and holds the Grand Rank of Past Grand Standard Bearer (PGStB). In the Craft he was promoted to the rank of Past Grand Sword Bearer (PGSwdB) earlier this year..
