Freemasons from Ashington Masonic Hall have donated food collected by their members to help Full Circle Foodbank based in Ashington.
Full Circle Foodbank is a vital community-based organisation and supports families and individuals in the Ashington area. Around 80 families a week depend on the foodbank.
Boxes of food, tins and packets were donated by the Ashington Freemasons who heard about the good work of the foodbank in the town and wanted to help.
Sarah Robinson who manages Full Circle Food was delighted with the food parcels and said. “It was great to welcome Ashington Freemasons to Full Circle Food in Hirst Park today. Thank you so much for bringing very generous contributions to our foodbank. It is much appreciated. Great to have such wonderful local support from the Ashington Freemasons”
Paul Anderson a Freemason from Newbiggin said “Ashington freemason are pleased we could help such a wonderful charity we we’re made very welcome it was so nice to meet the staff and see where the donations went”
