Festival 2031 - The Travelling Sceptre
The sceptre has long been a symbol of authority, but in our Order it reminds us that authority must always be guided by wisdom, humility, and service.
Just as rulers of old were entrusted with the welfare of their people, so too are we entrusted with the duty to use our influence for the good of others.
This Travelling Sceptre therefore carries with it a charge. Wherever it rests, let there be fellowship, generosity, and leadership in charity.
As it journeys from Chapter to Chapter, may it remind us that the true measure of authority is not power, but service.
