The first Wednesday in March saw Seaton Valley Lodge No.6239, which meets at Seaton Delaval Masonic hall, welcome its newest Master of the Lodge, W.Bro Graeme Tennick, having worked his way through all the offices over an incredible 36 years.
Graeme was initiated into Freemasonry, when he joined Lodge of Unity No.7937, in November 1986, subsequently joining Seaton Valley Lodge on the erasure of Lodge of Unity, in 1998, finally attaining the Masters Chair this year.
A packed Seaton Delaval Masonic Hall, played host to an incredible 38 brethren to witness W.Bro Rob Norris skilfully install Graeme into the Chair, with a very convivial Festive Board taking place, continuing the festivities. Rob joined Seaton Valley Lodge in 2011 and methodically worked his way up through every office before taking the office of Master.
Congratulations to Graeme on finally attaining the Masters Chair and to Rob for the skilful way in which he conducted the ceremony.
