Relief Chests
How Your Donation Works
All Festival 2031 donations are managed through official Relief Chests held with the Freemasons’ Charity.
The Province uses two Relief Chests:
Continuous Giving (Regular Donations)
This is used for ongoing contributions, typically made by monthly Direct Debit.
If you’re setting up regular giving to support the Festival over time, this is the route to use.
Event & One-Off Donations
This is used for single donations, including those made in support of specific activities such as:
- Sponsored runs
- Walks
- Dragon Boat Race
- Other Festival events
Important Information
- All new donations must be made into one of these two Relief Chests
- Existing contributions are largely paid via NMCA Standing Orders
- Over time, these will transition to Direct Debit arrangements managed directly with the MCF
Using the Relief Chest system ensures that all donations are properly recorded, attributed, and contribute towards both individual and Lodge honorifics.
