John Page Chapter Gains Two More Johns

12th November 2022

John Page Chapter No.3619, which meets at Cramlington Masonic Hall, had cause for celebration a few days ago when they exalted a further two Johns into their number.

Companions John Windsor and John Celino both completed their journey in pure and ancient Freemasonry when the ceremony was performed in excellent fashion by two “stand-ins”, E. Comp. Andrew Jennings acting as Z and E. Comp. David Anthony as the Principal Sojourner.

John Celino was initiated into Freemasonry in October 2016 when he joined The St Anthony’s Lodge No.4423, which meets at Byker Masonic Hall, and is currently their Junior Deacon.

John Windsor joined Freemasonry in April 1997, when he was initiated into John Page Lodge No.3619, and was acknowledged in Provincial Grand Lodge in 2015 when he was appointed to the rank of Past Provincial Grand Steward, receiving subsequent promotion to Past Provincial Grand Standard Bearer in 2020. He has never occupied the office of Master and is currently the Lodge Senior Deacon.

During the festive board John Celino said how much he’d enjoyed the ceremony, especially how colourful it was.

Many thanks to E.Comp Gordon Craigs for the submission of this article.
