Once again Byker Masonic Hall are collecting presents for boys and girls on behalf of The Salvation Army.
The Christmas Tree will soon be up in the foyer of the Hall and donated presents (with suitable for girl or boy and age appropriate written on by the donor) are placed at the base of the tree.
Any donations will be gratefully received and your generosity can bring a smile to the, not so fortunate, children on Christmas Day.
This annual collection is being co-ordinated by Bill Taylor with the Salvation Army collecting the gifts a week before Christmas Day and distributing them thereafter.
