One of our two Universities Scheme Lodges, Duke of Connaught 3892, carried out a double-initiation ceremony at their May meeting attended by a very special visitor. 

Those Freemasons of Northumberland who attended the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge last November will have heard the Provincial Grand Master, in his Address, make reference to his intention to consecrate a new Lodge, to be the “Provincial Grand Stewards Lodge of Northumberland”.

Venture Lodge No. 8198 was honoured to host a Festival Meeting of the Kindred Lodges Association earlier this month.

There was cause for a double celebration at St. John’s Lodge 1712 which meet at the Masonic hall in Maple Terrace, Newcastle.

The Annual Convocation of Provincial Chapter took place this week at Gosforth Race Course. The Convocation was well attended by Northumberland Companions and also welcomed 25 visiting dignitaries from other Provinces.
