Mid September saw the members of Lord Warkworth Lodge No.1829, which meets at Amble Masonic Hall, host a busy evening undertaking a double Initiation ceremony for 2 of the Provinces youngest members, in front of 3 fraternal visits from Alnwick Lodge No. 1167, which meets at Alnwick Masonic Hall, St Anthony’s Lodge No.4423, which meets at Byker Masonic Hall, and Newminster Lodge No.5328, which meets at Morpeth Masonic Hall.
The temple was, as many of the senior members of the Lodge described, just like the old days with the majority of the seats taken to witness the Master and Officers of the Lodge initiate Tony Tatum, aged 18, and Alfie Jackson, aged 19, with the bulk of the ceremony being undertaken by 3 Light Blue members.
The packed Festive Board ensured that Bros Tony and Alfie received a very warm welcome, with the whole evening raising an incredible £260 for charity.
Everyone at Northumberland Freemasons congratulate Tony and Alfie on being welcomed into the organisation and wishes them many enjoyable years.
