Geoffrey Hits The Bullseye

Congratulations, from everyone at Northumberland Freemasons, to W.Bro Geoffrey Bennett of Cowpen Lodge No.4824, which meets at Blyth Masonic Building.

Geoffrey joined Freemasonry in September 1972, when he was initiated into Blyth Lodge No.4484, also of Blyth Masonic Building, which was sadly erased in 2011. He occupied the Masters Chair, in Blyth Lodge, in 1982 and 1999, and currently holds the office of Senior Warden in Cowpen Lodge, an office he has held since 2019.

He was acknowledged in Provincial Grand Lodge, in 1992, when he was appointed to the rank of Past Provincial Assistant Grand Registrar, being promoted, in 2000, to Past Provincial Grand Registrar.

Geoffrey joined the Holy Royal Arch Chapter when he was Exalted into Blagdon Royal Arch Chapter No.559 in 1984. He occupied the office of Most Excellent in 1995 and 2016 and was acknowledged in Provincial Grand Chapter when he was appointed to the rank of Past Provincial Assistant Grand Sojourner, in 1999, receiving subsequent promotions to Past Provincial Grand Registrar in 2007 and then Past Provincial Grand Scribe Nehmiah in 2012.

We wish Geoffrey many more happy years in the Craft and Chapter.
