Golfers from across Northumberland Province took on Brethren from our neighbouring Province of Durham for the annual Joseph Miller Cup. The competition this year was hosted by Northumberland at the splendid Burgham Park Golf Club.
Our team went into the day optimistic that our home team advantage would help us towards victory, but unfortunately it was not to be. Durham retained the trophy with a 380 to 344 win.
The participants enjoyed a lovey 2-course meal in the clubhouse afterwards and our team captain for the day, Eric Longstaff, presented the trophy.
It was a wonderful day and all monies raised will be donated to the Masonic Covid-19 Appeal.
