A great night at the March Meeting of Carliol Lodge which meets at the Fern Avenue Masonic Centre. The Lodge received a Provincial Visit which was led by Worshipful Brother John Bruce the Deputy Provincial Grand Master who was supported by a full team of Provincial Officers.
The Deputy PGM was pleased to be able to present a 50th Anniversary Certificate in respect of WBro Clive Titman who had been Initiated into the Lodge exactly 50 years ago to the day! Unfortunately, Brother Clive has been in hospital recently and was too ill to attend the Lodge to receive his certificate in person so it was received on his behalf by WBro Bob Chambers.
The ceremonials concluded with an excellent lecture which was delivered by the Senior Warden, Bro Lewis Fairfax.
The evening continued with a very good Festive Board with food which was up to the usual high standards at Fern Avenue.
A sincere toast to the lodge was proposed by WBro John Heaton the Provincial Junior Warden and the evening was completed by the presentation of a cheque from the lodge to the NMCA which was gratefully received by the Deputy PGM.
All in all, a grand masonic evening.
