My Very Dear Brethren,
The Annual Investiture of Grand Officers will soon be upon us, over the 26th and 27th April, at Freemasons’ Hall in London.
To that end I have the greatest of pleasures in informing you that a number of Brethren in Northumberland have been recognised for their continued hard work in both the Craft and the Royal Arch Chapter.
In the Craft W.Bro Gary Breach of Dudley Lodge, W.Bro Wayne Brunton of Ocianus Lodge, W.Bro Nick Deakin of the Insurance and Banking Lodge of Northumbria, W.Bro Paul Ryder of Hotspur Lodge and W.Bro David Stockdale of Oriental Lodge, all received First Appointment to the rank of Past Assistant Grand Standard Bearer, with Gary being appointed to acting rank.
In the Royal Arch Chapter E.Comp Philippe Pages of Ridley Chapter and E.Comp Alasdair Watson of Northumberland Chapter received First Appointments to the rank of Past Grand Standard Bearer, with my Deputy, E.Comp Gordon Craigs, receiving Promotion to the rank of Past Grand Sword Bearer.
I hope you will join me in proffering hearty congratulations to all the recipients on their very well deserved preferments and, from a personal perspective, I am very proud of you all and thank you for the dedication you have shown to the Province.
Yours sincerely and fraternally
Ian Craigs
Provincial Grand Master/Provincial Grand Superintendent
