The Province of Northumberland has once again shown its support and commitment to the local community, by pledging its support to Circus Starr as it rolls into Newcastle on Thursday 3rd May. Circus Starr has all the things you would expect of the traditional Big Top spectacle – energetic acrobats, daring aerialists and a very mischievous clown, however it’s the audience that sets their events apart!
Circus Starr is an independent, charitable organisation that supports disadvantaged, disabled and vulnerable children across the UK. Established in 1987, it has given over one million underprivileged children and children with disabilities the chance to run away to the circus and forget their troubles for the day.
The Province of Northumberland is delighted to support the local community and help create special family moments for underprivileged children and children with disabilities.
Circus Starr opens on Thursday 3rdMay at Blaydon Rugby Club, Crow Trees Ground, Hexham Road, Swalwell, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE16 3BN
Show times: 4.45pm and 7pm
