The Old Parish of Bamburgh Local History Archive has received a £300 donation from Seahouses Farne with Glendale No. 5228 Masonic Lodge. This funding will be used to purchase a large television to view old photographs and give presentations to the local community.
The donation was presented at an evening event held at the Masonic Hall. During the event, the Archive showcased films of old Seahouses and the surrounding area created by local filmmaker Jimmy France of Luklukfilms.
The new television will allow the Archive to better display its collection of historical images and deliver more engaging presentations to community groups and individuals interested in Bamburgh’s history.
