Taking inspiration from the commendable efforts of W.Bro. David Watson and his team at Wallsend Masonic Hall, TLC ambassadors for Byker they have been motivated to enhance TLC fundraising within their hall. With significant support from the brethren of Byker, their initiative has gained remarkable traction.
Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) is a charitable initiative providing teddy bears to children in emergency departments to offer comfort and alleviate distress. Since its inception in 2001, TLC, supported by Freemasons, has distributed 3.5 million teddies across hospitals in England and Wales.
This fantastic cause saw a recent boost through the generosity of the brethren supporting the number draw over several months. On Monday, June 24th, during the St. Raphael Lodge No. 6261 festive board, W.Bro. Denis Frazer, representing the Provincial office and on behalf of the TLC, was presented with a donation of £1,350. This contribution reflects the kindhearted and giving spirit of the many Northumberland Freemasons and supporters, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported the number draw over the past few months.
