The 5th September saw members of the Light Blues Club of Northumberland make the marathon journey to St David’s Lodge No.393 at Berwick-upon-Tweed, which meets in the northern most masonic building in England.
In addition a fraternal visit was in attendance from Lodge Saint John’s No.280, which meets at Coldstream Masonic Hall, Scottish Constitution, swelling the already packed building, with a substantial Light Blues presence.
A double Initiation ceremony was undertaken involving on the night involving Pathways Candidates, carried out by W.Bro Shane McPherson as, unfortunately W.Bro Rob Brown, the current Master had undergone an operation on his foot, however was still able to be in attendance. There was even a space for Bro Chris Connor, of Lord Warkworth Lodge No.1879, which meets at Amble Masonic Hall, to stand in as Senior Deacon on the night.
St David’s Lodge is going from strength to strength as at their next meeting they are undertaking yet another double Initiation Ceremony, which promises to be yet another great night for all those who attend.
The Light Blues Club would like to thank the Lodge for their warm fraternal greeting and a wonderful evening had by all those who attended and welcome Bros Ganda and McClymont into Freemasonry.
