The Provincial Craft and Mark degrees battled it out on the golf course for the annual Pledger Cup, which took place on Friday 6th August. The annual competition was played on a wet and windy Arcot Hall Golf Club in Dudley, Cramlington.
The two teams of eight players locked horns in the inclement weather and, despite the atrocious conditions, all appeared to have a very enjoyable day with some excellent golf being played on both sides.
The day was completed with a pleasant meal in the clubhouse and the presentation of a trophy, although the actual Pedger Cup had been left in the Provincial Office.
The Craft team managed to retain the Trophy with a 210 points against the Mark 177 points win.
The day was enjoyed by all the participants and it was great to return to some form of normality.
