At this time of year RMBI Care Home, Scarbrough Court in Cramlington, would be preparing for their huge annual Christmas fair.
Scarbrough Court is a charitable organisation so they rely on fundraising to support residents. All moneys raised at their fairs go into the resident’s amenity fund, providing residents with fun and meaningful activities to promote good health and well-being, entertainment and outings for everyone to enjoy.
Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19 and for the safety of the residents Scarbrough Court have had to postpone outings and external entertainments, also family and friends have been unable to visit their loved ones in their home. With the kind generosity of their friends, family and local community their aim to raise funds so residents can be provided with more activities and most of all an enjoyable Christmas during these uncertain times.
With the wonders of technology, Scarbrough Court are planning to hold a virtual Christmas fair on Saturday 12th December through their social media platform. They are planning to do a Grand Raffle & pick a box stall, mystery bottle bag, cakes stall and a small tombola for staff and residents
If you, or if you know of anyone, who would be able to support us by donating items that could be used on any of the stalls, they would be very grateful.
